Sunset in Highstyle Fashion

There are days on set where everything conspires against you at the start, and then the light arrives and makes you forget all of it. This was one of those days.

We had barely gotten started when the first unexpected moment happened; something that ended up on video and nowhere else, a little accident that had both of us laughing before a single serious frame was taken. It set the tone in the best possible way: no tension, no stiffness, just two people who had already broken the ice before the shoot really began. You can feel that in the images.

The location was a stretch of industrial Cologne I have driven past more times than I can count, always meaning to stop. Steel bridge structures, cracked asphalt, dry autumn brush catching the last warmth of November; rough geometry against a sky that could not have cooperated more if I had ordered it. The sun was low and burning directly into the lens for most of the session, which meant working with flare rather than against it, letting the light do what it wanted and finding the composition inside the chaos.

Serena wore the latexkind leggings paired with a dark forest-green fashion blouse, a black leather biker jacket left deliberately open, and a silver ring collar that caught the light at exactly the angles it needed to. The thigh strap, with its double-buckle detail, added an edge that felt entirely at home against the industrial backdrop. Heavy lace-up boots grounded the whole look; not fashion as costume, but fashion as a second skin.

What I was after here is what I am always after with Highstyle: the feeling that someone dressed this way simply because this is how they move through the world. Not for a shoot, not for an occasion. Just Tuesday. Just sunset. Just the way things are.
