Black & White military coat highstyle

This shoot with Catherine Reus was deliberately placed in the basement, fully independent from weather and outside noise. I wanted a controlled environment where black and white could do the heavy lifting. The military coat set the tone immediately, with its structured, confident look, while the skintight, shiny leggings and latex socks sharpened the silhouette underneath. The v-neck shirt kept it clean and direct, and the high heels introduced that familiar tension between elegance and restraint. Nothing here needed explanation. The space and styling spoke for themselves.

What I focused on was balance. The coat adds authority, almost a sense of distance, while the latex brings intimacy back into the frame. The gloves were the final decision, not an afterthought. They pull the look together and shift it from dressed to intentional. From one perspective, this reads as high fashion stripped down to essentials. From another, it feels quietly fetish-driven, with the shine and fit doing subtle work rather than shouting. Both readings can exist without canceling each other out.
