Black matte catsuit with toe socks
Catherine Reus spent the afternoon already entirely at ease in her matte black latex catsuit, which she had clearly ‘made her own’. We wrapped the day indoors with a quiet, focused series on the couch, just her and the soft geometry of the setting. The contrast between the structured gloss of the latex and the textured fabric of the sofa created a subtle tension that worked well with the natural light.
This version of the catsuit was a preliminary piece, something she had been enjoying for a while, but we’ve been working on a more refined iteration with updated paneling and a tailored fit. Catherine has a strong connection to the material itself; she moves with ease and intention when wearing it, and her expressions shift into a quieter, more controlled mode. That was precisely what I wanted to capture in these final shots of the day.
Something is grounding about the way she wears latex; no performance, no extra staging, just presence and calm. The catsuit’s matte surface absorbed the light in a way that avoided flashiness, allowing form and silhouette to take the lead. These frames felt like the right way to close out our session: simple, intimate, and focused entirely on the person at the center.
