Latex Lifestyle
Matte black latex + leather
Catherine Reus wanted a latex look that felt more low-key, more wearable, something she could spend the day in without the usual gloss and glide. I opted for a matte black latex suit, styling it with a fitted leather jacket and flat platform sneakers. No shine, no silicone oil, no fuss. Just a clean silhouette that let her move through an urban setting like it was her own.
We shot around the back of an industrial building, wide spaces, hard shadows, and lots of texture in the brick and concrete. Catherine slipped right into the vibe, giving us a mix of casual strut and confident stares straight into the lens. The matte latex didn’t scream for attention, but it delivered exactly what it needed to: form, structure, and just the right amount of edge under that leather.
This kind of shoot proves that latex doesn’t have to be loud to make an impression. Catherine felt comfortable, unrestricted, and herself throughout the day. That was the goal, and seeing her relaxed, sharp, and in complete control of her appearance confirmed that we had hit it exactly right.
